Why I am doing this:
I have resisted doing this. I really didn't want to do this. But, I'm going to have to take this journal friends-only. Sadly, a lot of contests and publishers consider something "previously published" if it has been posted online publicly. Because I would like to pursue publication for expanded versions of some of the fiction that I've been writing here, as well as some of the poetry, I'm taking the journal friends-only.

What this means for you:
If you have a livejournal and I'm already on your friends-list, it doesn't change much. It just means that you'll have to be signed in to read what I'm writing.

If you don't have a livejournal, and you want to keep reading, you're going to have to sign up for one. The accounts are free and you don’t ever have to post anything in your journal. You just have to create it and add [livejournal.com profile] realiotrulio to your friends list. Once you’ve “friended” me, I can friend you back and, if I do, whenever you’re signed in to your livejournal account, you can read my writings. Go here to create a livejournal of your own.

If you have questions:
Comment here with your questions. This post and my prompting posts will remain the only public entries in this journal as of this morning. I will start posting regularly again tomorrow with an author’s note explaining the new rules for May.

So you know, I really didn’t want to do this, but sometimes, I’m not the one making the rules.

Off-topic, but "I'm not the one making the rules" sounds like a great prompt.

Shall I consider it an official prompt as of this point? Or do you want to comment with it on the prompting post?

I went ahead and moved it over with a few more from my ADD stream of consciousness.

I'm so glad that you've decided to do this. I always cringe when I see people posting great writing that's not password protected.

*BLUSH* That means a lot coming from someone I consider to be a great writer. Thank you so much. You made my day.

Really? Thanks so much :) I don't really think of myself as a great writer, so that's a wonderful compliment to hear :)
